In today’s lesson I began working on a very large piece. This piece is based on me and what has made me the person I am today. Things like; how I looked over the last 19 years, favourite food and drinks from when I was younger,favourite childhood programs etc. I began by sticking sheets of paper together to create a large piece of paper. I then covered the paper on white emulsion paint to stiffen the paper. After the paint dried I started using charcoal to begin drawing a self portrait from today, a portrait of me from when I was in high school and a portrait of me when I was a toddler. Afterwards I began to cover the white by adding acrylic paint. Whilst the paint was drying I started to add things that resembled my childhood. I will continue in next weeks lesson
